“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

Carl R. Rogers

a note from Kate...

I started training as a therapist after finding it helpful with my own struggles with low self-esteem, bad relationships, loneliness, anxiety, and patches of depression. I have been there, knowing I needed some support but at the same time, being unsure and scared to take the steps to get it. I will always be glad that I finally did.

As a therapist I believe that you know yourself better than I do. I am there to work with you rather than tell you what to do. I truly enjoy the work. I often find even though I deal with hard emotions like sadness, hurt, anger there is room for laughter, happinesses and love in the therapy room. It isn't all doom and gloom, which might be what some people expect the experience to be.

I trained in Munter Technoloical University and I am fully accredited with the IACP. I've been working as a certified Counselling Professional who specializes in helping people cope with the challenges they are facing. I work with my clients in a way that utilizes both their heads and their hearts.
